I'm not politically interested at all but I've got to give credit to John Bercow over the years. I'm going to miss his presence in Parliament.

Happy retirement John.

Can't help noticing the similarity between 'order' and the French word 'ordure'...

It depends on whom the 'ordure' was aimed at :)

Seriously, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Parliamentary debate under his adjudication and wish him well.

Good riddance, look forward to seeing who the new speaker will be - hoping a improvement on this one and politics have nothing to do with it.

He couldn't have been more different from the previous incumbent, Speaker Martin (nicknamed, without affection, Gorbals Mick) who was utterly hopeless. I fear who they'll get now though: I most fervently hope it's not Harriet Harman.

People don't seem to like him, due to him actually bothering to do his job properly.

Correct. And being nasty by stopping Brexit ( or something)

EDIT: we shoukd be fair. People could be against him becuase of the allegations he failed to deal effectively with bullying in the hoc staff

The Right Honourable John Bercow will be on Sky News election night coverage. I now know which I'll be viewing

Sooner have a boil on my bum than watch him.
His best move yet.
No doubt every now and then he’ll appear on tv like that other muppet Blair

Pitty politicians can't take the Judge Dredd style "Long Walk" when they retire.
