We now get the 1116 Cardiff Bus 27 from Birchgrove (Cross Inn) to College Road RK, arriving at 11:22 on Friday morning.

Note, College Road RK is just 0.3 miles from Cathays station.

Clearly, Cardiff is causing issues for some of us, so we take the seven minute walk to the Kingsway and board the 1210 Megabus service M35 to Leeds (City Bus Station), arriving there at 1910 on Friday evening.

we walk four minutes to Sheffield Interchange where we board the 0105 national express service 240 to Luton, old airport arriving at 0510 on a Saturday.

We take the 9 minute 0.4 mile walk to the railway station and board the 1050 Northern service to Morecambe arriving there at 1059 on Saturday morning.

Back in Carnforth, so no brief encounter! (I'll get my coat).

After a slice of cake and a tea in the splendid cafe on the station, we take the 1310 Northern service to Parton arriving there at 1542 on Saturday.

Leaving the railway station, we take the nine minute walk to the General Hospital on the A695 and there board the 1920 Go North East service 10 to Prudhoe (The bus stop opposite the Post Office on Front Street) that arrives there at 1948 on Saturday evening.

A little short of options here, so we stay overnight before taking the 0901 LNER service to Alnmouth arriving there at 0914 on Sunday morning.
