Its not a Shunter role. It's a depot operations controller. Salary of 55k

It does state that you will be "driving and shunting rolling stock". With that in mind would this role be required to sit the psychometrics ?

I didn’t get through, why I don’t know, I currently work for nwr so have so much experience I can relate to.

I really thought I nailed my application this time.

Is it appropriate to ask why I wasn’t selected to go forward? I felt sick seeing I wasn’t successful, it’s what I’ve always wanted to do and so spent loads of time prior to the job even being posted to make sure I was ready for when they arose

I'm sorry to hear that Ladder23
If it's the paper sift you weren't successful at then they don't normally feed back. But I don't see any harm whatsoever in asking. That's if you have a way of contacting them. I never found a phone number for GTR for love nor money.

Did anyone apply for this role then get through the assessment day? I did but have heard nothing since and was wondering if others are in the same boat waiting or I missed an email somewhere.
