Wondering if anyone is able to help.

Travelling from Edinburgh to Euston and back at the end of the month and have asked for an accessible seat near the accessible toilet, through passenger Assistance. EDB to EUS they've given me B56, EUS to EDB I've got D62!

Neither of them show as even priority seating on the pendolino seating plan, let alone accessible seating! My problem is mobility (due to my size) and a standard seat is no good for me!

I have a walking aid - and a wheelchair, but can't use it on the train because it's too wide for the ramp/ door/ aisle, so I stick to the walker!

Some companies (Lner, TFW) will happily book me the accessible seating area and a space for the walker. Some wont! Once I have been refused even a priority seat booking, via passenger Assistance!

Sorry, waffling now!

Question - are B56 & D62 on a pendolino actually priority or accessible seating? Or should I need to contact vtwc passenger Assistance.

If it makes any difference I'm travelling
1252 EDB to EUS Thurs 21
1240 Eus to EDB Sun 24

D62 is an airline-style aisle seat right next to the accessible toilet so you couldn't be closer to the toilet and you have the wheelchair space on the other side of the aisle - plenty of room to get out although it doesn't have the extra leg room of a priority seat

B56 is also an airline-style aisle seat but not a priority seat, it's two rows from the wheelchair space so not as convenient for the accessible toilet - you may want to see if they can move you from this one

Just rung virgin and apparently I can't book an accessible seat, they are only provided for wheelchair user companions, therefore there is no accessible space for PRM to sit.

Priority seating is situated further away from the accessible toilet than the standard seating I've been allocated, and therefore am unable to get my walker to the seat!

So, they've told me I can't bring my wheelchair unless I fold it and walk it on - I can then have the accessible seat - but by walking on with a four wheel walking aid, I cant.

I will still be the same person, just treated differently!!!!
