Thanks. For interest I have 158 909 as going to Crewe on 24th Sept so around 6 weeks.
I have 7 158s still needing PRM mods inc. 158 786 16th Oct and 158 901 today in Crewe works.
With around 34 dmus left to PRM at 6 weeks each with say 6 units in works at a time a very rough estimate would take 34weeks which is mid 2020.

So with 158786/9/901 at Crewe. This will leave only 4 Northern158s to be modified to comply with the new regulations. These being 158 903/6/7 and 10 I believe.

319382 has had all Northern branding removed both internally and externally. Even the corners of the safety posters where Northern was have been cut off.
Had 366 earlier which I believe is ROG bound and thats still branded.

Do the 170s with the dissused first class still the same layout for the first class section

It was reported as such a few weeks ago, I personally haven't had chance to confirm or deny this tho.

Yes, the first two certainly kept the compartment & door, the seat layout, and the same reclining seats - just changing the material and, possibly, the foam. They have kept the tables but lost the table lights and, thinking about it, I don't remember seeing the extra reading lights in the luggage rack.

The recliners seem to be more likely to be broken now, being incapable of staying upright.
