Don't suppose anyone knows the HST workings this coming week? (W.C 18.8)

And to answer my own earlier question, the HST does not appear to be out and about today.

Managed to get the HST and a 180 at East Midlands Parkway this afternoon. The 180 looked like it only had a handful of passengers on. I'm not sure what the power cars were but it looked like the front one was 43023.

Surely the Hull Trains crews don't have route knowledge of the Midland Line, did they have conductor drivers?

Out of interest if any drivers can answer, in the cab, how does route conducting work, does the conductor give continuous instructions, like any braking points, awkward sighted signals, next line speed increase or decrease etc? Is it very much just instructions given or does one chat normally? Is it more stressful than normal driving?.

I believe if the conducting driver signs the traction they have to drive the train.

Shots of the Hull Trains 180 approaching the preserved St Albans South box Sunday afternoon:

Down:

(And apologies for having to include Network Rail's mess in the second shot!)
The down train appeared to be well-loaded, by the way.

would anyone be able to say if the HSTs are out tomorrow please?
It's not out unless there's an issue with one of the 180s which means it's unable to complete its diagram so it's not possible to tell whether the HST will be out unless there's a major fault (amongst many) with the remaining fleet
