Does anybody know why Voyagers appear to be being used on direct Blackpool-Euston Services on Saturday's?

The 3 round trips from EUS are timed for Pendolinos, but for all sorts of reasons Voyagers could be substituted.
Is it every week? is it only Saturdays? If the second, then engineering works are a possible reason.

RTT shows all Saturday Blackpool journeys as timed for Voyagers. That probably doesn't answer the OP's question, though.

Due to a German markets in Birmingham, voyagers are replacing pendolino. If that helps, it should be back to 2 pendolino sand 1 voyager usually on Saturdays since May TT change. After chrtimas.

It's just a temporary change to support more capacity into Birmingham on Saturdays during the Christmas Shopping season.

For the same reason, many extra calls are being made at Macclesfield on London to Manchester services on Saturdays.

All quite clever, if you ask me.
