Just checked Traksy and 6E15 is sat in the loop which is a GBRf engineers train. 66760 is listed as having worked a civil engineers last so I'd guess it's at the head of this @BlythPower (2+2 sometimes equals 5 though so you might want to wait for someone with live TOPS info)

Thank you very much! I was driving to work past the line this morning and caught a glimpse of it there. The number looked like 66760 but I wasn't sure at that distance. It looks like my specs are more powerful than I'd thought!

No problem - GB give you more of a fighting chance of reading numbers from a distance than most haha.

Did it appear to have a rake of engineers wagons behind it or was it alone?

It looked like a number of bogied wagons with their side stakes raised so engineers wagons sounds right to me.

Where were you when you saw the 2 class 20's?
Definitely 66426 & 434 showing on the system unless they swapped loco's sometime in the day?

I was on the train at Bentham. It was just a passing glance but I swore I saw the distinct shape of a Class 20 cab pass me.

Can anyone confirm the loco(s) on 1130 6Z20 Leicester LIP to Crewe Basford Hall SSM today?

I would think that it was 20118 & 20132 but what were they hauling? they are currently on their way back to Chaddesden as 1409 0Z20
