Yes, 091 arrived back at Willesden on time and then went light to Acton Terminal, presumably for fuel, and then back via Wembley

Surprise of the day must be the DCR 1058 6Z46 Crewe Basford Hall to WEFOC service operated by HNRC 20118 & 20132 and formed of Network Rail machinery, I don't think many 20s have worked on the WCML for a while

DCR twitter and facebook have a subtle as a flying mallet hint today with regard to 60046, a picture of the 'William Wilberforce' name plate that 046 originally carried with the caption "We are looking forward to finding a home for these, anybody have any suggestions?"

56091 is running as a retimed 2129 6Z41 to Scunthorpe Roxby tonight, loads of layover time again and not due at Scunthorpe until 0906

56103 is on 2220 6Z56 to Boston via Shap and the Hope Valley, no movement as of 2300 but as it's due to go through Sheffield the rain may well be putting a spanner in the works

20118 & 20132 are scheduled to deliver their load to Plasser at West Ealing from WEFOC tomorrow and then run light to Barrow Hill via the MML

56103 is staying on its holiday in Carlisle as 6Z56 was cancelled due to severe flooding, 6Z41 has been delayed since Newark but is now past Barnetby and less than an hour from Scunthorpe, obviously flooding in Lincolnshire has been less severe than Yorkshire

6Z41 has paddled into Scunthorpe 48 late

For anyone intending to go out for a look at 20118 & 20132 they are now running as 1051 0Z20 West Ealing Plasser Sdgs to Leicester LIP via the WCML rather than the MML, due to arrive at Leicester 1433

Another attempt this evening to replicate the Great Escape and get 56103 out of Carlisle, 2200 6Z56 is scheduled via Oxenholme, Preston, Crewe, Stafford & Nottingham to Boston, third time lucky perhaps .......

56091 was delayed as far as Nottingham with 1302 6Z42 Scunthorpe Roxby to Chaddesden then on time after a run round at Toton, at Derby it was unable to get into Chaddesden due to flooding at Derby and has seemingly been terminated on platform 6

DCR today announced that a new contract had commenced yesterday on behalf of Hanson & Hall, it is for moving TfL Class 315s from Ilford EMUD to Northampton for warm storage, as well as driving the units to Northampton they will also be undertaking weekly warm running movements

More fun and games for 6Z56 last night, it finally made it's departure from Carlisle and was pretty much on time until reaching Beeston, 134 late at Nottingham things went downhill rapidly until going from 173 late at Newark Crossing to 503 late when assistance from 56091 got it back on the move arriving at Boston 408 late, the 56s were due to run light to Leicester LIP but this was cancelled due to crewing problems

Earlier on 20118 & 20132 had been used to run light from Leicester to Derby to release 56091 which was still on platform 6 and unable to run round 6Z42 or access Chaddesden because of flooding, the 20s took the wagons as 6Z55 to Beeston South Jct

Things beginning to get sorted out today, 56091 took 56103 and 6Z56 from Boston to Chaddesden this afternoon and is due later to run as 0Z57 to Beeston Sth Jct to attach to the wagons taken there yesterday by the 20s which have already left and gone light to Leicester LIP, it is then scheduled as 2200 6Z57 Beeston to Willesden DC via the ECML

On the good side is news that 60055 has gone onto the load bank at Toton today, with 60046 expected to be released to DCR this week it means that two 60s could be in traffic by around the middle of December taking the pressure off the 56s, there are numerous pictures on WNXX (subscription site) today of the 20s, 56s and the 60

56091 arrived in Willesden early hours and then light to Acton and return before taking the wagons to Angerstein for the tonights 2300 6Z41 to Scunthorpe Roxby, 56103 took the 1210 6Z55 from Chaddesden to Carlisle for tomorrows Boston and 20118 & 20132 were in action again taking a track machine on the 1103 6Z20 from Leicester to Basford Hall and then 0Z20 light to Chaddesden

56091 made it into Scunthorpe this morning with 6Z41, it then went light this evening to Carlisle via Doncaster Roberts Road to pair up with 56103 for tonights 6Z56 to Boston via Hexham and the ECML, unfortunately the service has been cancelled due to traction equipment

20118 & 20132 went light from Chaddesden to Scunthorpe to collect the 6Z41 wagons after unloading and returned to Chaddesden as 6Z63

0745 Toton TMD to Chaddesden is scheduled to run tomorrow and is expected to be 60046, failing that the 20s will take the 0940 Chaddesden to Willesden via the MML to form tomorrow nights Angerstein to Scunthorpe

Toton to Chaddesden doesn't seem to have run:

I can't find a Chaddesden - Willesden path but there do seem to be a couple of Chaddesden-Wembley ones, both with code 0Z20...

Pretty much everything seems to be up the spout at the moment, last nights Carlisle to Boston cancelled with nothing re-scheduled as yet, the Chaddesden - Willesden has disappeared but there is a 1040 0Z20 Chaddesden to Wembley Central via the MML to Bedford and Bletchley which then becomes 0Z20 Wembley Central to West Ealing Plasser Sdgs and is showing as the 20s, whether that happens or not ...... as you say no 0Z60 movement so far from Toton and no sign of flag waving, trumpets or ticker tape on DCR social media

60046 is currently out on it's test run (with 60001) on 6E02 to Boston, and then whatever it works back

Looks as though 046 made it to Boston and then back to Toton on the 2018 return trip without problem

After picking up 3 wagons from Plasser 20118 & 20132 continued from West Ealing as 1834 6Z20 to Westbury Up TC, they are scheduled to make the return trip from Westbury to Chaddesden tomorrow

Also scheduled for tomorrow is an 0105 0Z56 Carlisle to Chaddesden

Goodness knows what's going on today, supposedly just one 56, which was reported to be 103, arrived back at Chaddesden this morning on 0Z56 and then forward as 0940 6Z39 to Willesden and 1530 0Z56 to Acton, which arrived late back at 1725 as 0Z57 to Willesden, this meant 6Z40 to Angerstein left 119 late

20118 & 20132 arrived at Willesden F Sdgs from Westbury and are presumably stabled there overnight

There is an 0Z60 1853 Toton TMD to Kingmoor VQ which has departed Toton Centre 36 late which, presumably, must be 60046

I'm sure it'll all come out in the wash ......

Confirmed elsewhere that you're dead right, both 56s are on the Angerstein tonight, after the last few weeks of leaves and cancellations I expect they'll be glad to get back together again

Great set of pictures on WNXX (subscription) tonight of 20118 & 20132 on their trip to Westbury, in the yard and their return to Willesden

Also news that 60055 has been out on a light engine trip from Toton to Leicester and return a small matter of 11 years since being put into store

Thanks for that, they seem to have had a delay at Connington this morning, 14 early to 88 late, but not far off Scunthorpe around 60 late now, infrastructure hold up I wonder?

An interesting thread but there seem to be so many cancellations, failures and light engine moves. Do DCR actually make any money?

Obviously I'm not privy to their finances but I think the answer must be yes, Cappagh have invested/are investing a lot of money in the four 60s and I doubt a hard nosed construction company would be doing that blindly, the statement put out a couple of days ago on the acceptance of 60046 points to next year as their target with the opening of the Wembley construction materials hub, I can only assume that jobs like the 20s did to Westbury yesterday are priced for the trips with and without a load, if not then Charles Dickens would be right with his "Annual income twenty pounds, annual outgoings twenty pounds and sixpence, result misery" quote. I think the cancellations have been magnified by the leaf fall season, another loco or two and they would probably have got through relatively unscathed but trying to cover two contracts with two 'seasoned' locos has been difficult, with 60046 now available, 60055 roughly a month away and the RHTT season ending things should improve dramatically

60046 made its first service run this morning with 0852 6Z56 Kingmoor to Doncaster Down Decoy via the ECML, there was some delay due to track problems somewhere between Newcastle and Durham but arrived only 20 late, it appears that it will continue tomorrow as 0500 6Z57 to Boston

56091 & 56103 arrived at Barnetby an hour late with last nights 6Z41 due to a broken rail, 091 was removed and 103 took the train on to Scunthorpe Roxby and then as 6Z58 to Rossington Loading Point, 091 went light from Barnetby to Toton to collect a Railvac as 6X38 Toton to Hoo Junction Up Yard and then 0Z39 to Willesden DC Sdgs

Again there are a number of pictures on WNXX (subscription) of 60046 light and loaded, the 56s with wagons, 56091 with the railvac and some of the Class 315s on their warm store trips from Northampton
