Apologies if mentioned elsewhere but is 91101 Flying Scotsman still in traffic?
Noticed 82205 the Flying Scotsman branded DVT is now paired up with 91107 Skyfall.

Just wondered when the flying Scotsman set was broken up and if it was deliberate or just for maintenance convenience or similar?

the loco rarely matches the dvt. I have seen the loco this week in service.

Some coaches moved around last night, I don't know where they came from but a DVT, Mk4s and a 67 went through Reading last night heading for Eastleigh at about 21:00. DVT leading which looked rather good on the CCTV cameras at work

Maintenance convenience: Class 91 locos are swapped between mark 4 sets every few weeks at least as the two are on different maintenance cycles: Sets with both branded locos and DVTs don't stay together for long.

At York today loco 91115 working 0930 Kx-Edinburgh COASTED (loco dead) into Platform 9. After various fault finding exercises by driver the train was terminated. Driver said "Multiple failures" and no hope of resurrecting power at all. Thunderbird loco requested but failed set still blocking platform 9 at 1345 (2 hours later).

Perhaps when the set gets to Bounds Green tonight the set of coaches could have 91115 replaced by 91116 (the long standing resident of Bounds Green). Any sightings of 91116 on ECML tomorrow (before Lincoln diversions start) would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot for that. Which trains is it working today please?
It was posted on Facebook that it was working 1N08, 1Y32, 1S25 and 1E31. I know it definitely did the first of those, hopefully the rest are still correct!

Checking back with RTT on Tuesday and Wednesday there were moves from Eastleigh TRSMD via Byfleet/Kew to Willesden SWS then back to Eastleigh via Reading.

I can confirm the illusive 91116 worked 1S25 as I've just seen it leave York heading north

Many thanks to those who have advised on here that 91116 has finally returned to the ECML today after many months being confined to Bounds Green depot.

It should now end up at Heaton after working 1E31 back from Edinburgh tonight. Does anyone who is more familiar than myself with 91 diagrams know what 91116 is diagrammed to work out of Newcastle tomorrow morning please?

91116 has been taken off the formation now and replaced with 91101.
91116 is now showing as working only 1A50 1946 Leeds to Kings Cross then to Bounds Green.
.
At least its still working .. not had 91101 for a while anyway so took it to York .. will try again later in the week ..

91116 put itself to shame once again, 1A50 powered by 67016.

Failed earlier in day and was replaced by a 5 car Azuma on a Leeds - London.

The drag tonight on 1A50 is to get it back to Bounds Green.

It would appear that 91116 is a particularly hard loco to get "haulage" with. Has literally spent most of this year in Bounds Green. Came out eventually on 1st November but only worked 2 trains and failed. Left Bounds Green again last Friday for 2 days before failing for todays 1428 Donc-Edb (ECS ex Neville Hill). Dropped back to work 1945 Lds-Kgx but failed again and was 67 hauled to Kgx tonight.

LNER driver at Leeds tonight told me that ECML short of trainsets now as 2 sets involved in Neville Hill collision, 91115 failed at York last Friday and dragged back to Bounds Green, 91111 (with coaches) failed in Doncr West Yard all this weekend and now 91116 out of service. Driver states that 91116 unable to raise pantograph at Neville Hill today. Bounds Green got some hard work ahead!!.

Yes very elusive .. Ive had 3 East Mid Rovers trying to get it and yesterday drove from Stoke to Doncaster and back in the pouring rain only for the haulage gods to frown on me once again ! The mrs thinks im mental!! One day (maybe!)

91111 seems to have been dumped in Doncaster with a whole train. I heard from the platform wibblers that it had a "hot box"

It hauled a Doncaster > Edinburgh service yesterday.

Failed earlier in day and was replaced by a 5 car Azuma on a Leeds - London.

I was on that. It was wedged. Bailed at Doncaster.

The infamous 91116 is clearly causing great frustration/disappointment to all those of us wishing to have "haulage" with it before it finally gets withdrawn in favour of Satzumas. The "cat and mouse" game with "number 16" continued again yesterday with the only consolation being that some of us enjoy a 67 ride sometimes, but personally, not when it's dragging a dead 91116.

On behalf of all those hoping that 91116 comes off repairs at Bounds Green sooner rather than later now, could anyone who knows it is out working or sees it, make it known on this forum please. Ta very much, much appreciated in advance!!
