For those of you who recall the circus surrounding the ex-owner of Billericay Glenn Tamplin.

He has re-appeared, having now bought Romford FC, replaced the manager and named himself as the replacement.

Edit:
Oh, and Tamplin has said he's signed 15 players today in an attempt to go from bottom of the table today to reach the play offs!

Has he signed Jamie O’Hara yet?

I attended my first football match for about 50 years last Saturday. Bangor 1876 v Ruthin Town in the Welsh Cup. Bangor 1876 is a club only formed in April this year by fans/supporters disgusted with the owners of Bangor City - a group of charlatans and rogues (allegedly) - who have alienated most of the loyal supporters over the last few years and led to this schism. A friend is heavily involved and I had promised to go along to support them, I do like the idea of supporter owned clubs. Attendance was about 400, and they have regularly had attendances of over 300 in the Gwynedd league...which is unheard of. Although Bangor lost 2-0, it was a creditable performance against a team 5 leagues higher. Pretty certain that I shall go along again!
Back in the late '60's I would regularly support St Neot's Town in the Metropolitan League and then , I think, the United Counties League, stopped around 1969.

Brackley 5 v Darlington 1

Not quite as good as last week! I think we had 9 fit players at kick off. One lad joined on loan last night and the bench was kids.

2 lads on international duty, 4 long term injury and 2 suspensions. If I took my boots I might have got a game!

The cup replay on Wednesday will be fun. We might have 10 fit...........

BetVictor Northern Premier League

Hyde United 4 ... Bamber Bridge 1

Bamber Bridge took the lead mid-way through the first half, but Hyde pressure eventually told and they equalised four minutes before half-time. Hyde then came out with a better mindset in the second half and scored three more unanswered goals to give them their best result in recent weeks. They now lie in tenth place in the league.

Farsley Celtic 2 Boston 4 a good win puts us on the edge of the playoffs. Scored the 4th with 9 men as well! Finally a home match on Tuesday!

Mauricio Pochettino has been sacked by Tottenham Hotspur:
https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2019/november/mauricio-leaves-club/
"It is not a decision the board has taken lightly, nor in haste. Regrettably domestic results at the end of last season and beginning of this season have been extremely disappointing.

"It falls on the board to make the difficult decisions - this one made more so given the many memorable moments we have had with Mauricio and his coaching staff - but we do so in the club's best interests."

Another planet...
As they say, football is a match of two halves and a 0-1 half-time deficit was overcome by Scotland scoring three unanswered second half goals in a 3-1 win.
There were a few unexpected early goals by lesser teams against higher-quality sides: such as Northern Ireland scoring first against Germany, and Cyprus doing the same to Belgium. Alas neither side were able to withstand the ensuing mauling once they'd "poked the bear"!

Congratulations to Wales on qualifying for the finals with their mostly comfortable 2-0 victory over Hungary.

Jose Mourinho appointed at Spurs.

People did think it was strange timing to sack Pochettino so far into the international break but now it's obvious they sounded out Mourinho before pulling the plug.

I just cant see him being the right " fit" for Spuds. he doesn't prioritise youth, he will want money, he has played a very dour brand of football, buys solid boring players ( like Matic) and not the fancy dans spuds love and will annoy all of the players inside 12 months. Also his approach has been made to look stone age by the likes of Pep and Klopp

he just doesn't seem the right man for that club.

I agree. But i'm willing to bet he'll win the League Cup next season then implode thereafter to take another nice payoff. I also found it hilarious that following his appointment, George Graham was trending on Twitter.

Boston 2 Blyth Spartans 0. Another win, really seem to be hitting form despite the amount of games we have played. In the playoffs and 10 points off top with a game in hand. Despite being near the bottom I thought Blyth were one of the better teams to come to York St this year.
