maybe there was no 76 involved I just can not remember I was sure we went from tinsley then over woodhead but I guess it could have been different locoClass 76's were long gone by 1984 so that doesn't tally with your original post.

thamksIf you also remember, after going over Woodhead, having one or two Class 40s back over Standedge to York then it would have almost certainly been one of the two 1978 tours.
I was doing plenty of tours around then and had there been another featuring Class 76s and a Class 13, I would have been on it!
