I have a passenger wishing to make a return from Perth [PTH] to Dalmuir [DMR]. On one of the legs they want to travel via Edinburgh [EDB]. I know that a PTH to Glasgow [GLQ] ticket is valid via EDB but dont think that this applies to one to DMR.

Any suggestions for a through ticket that would allow travel via EDB or should I suggest splitting fares? Walk up fares only.

I don't think there's a reasonably priced through ticket which permits travel from Perth to Dalmuir via Edinburgh, so splitting may be the only option.

I notice that easement 700800 says:
700800 (Circuitous Route) Customers travelling from Perth with a Cheap Day Single or return tickets to Glasgow Central or Glasgow Queen Street may not travel via Haymarket or Edinburgh. This circuitous route easement applies in both directions.

So the passenger should avoid doing that with one of those tickets.
