I'm going down to London to (hopefully) celebrate on election night.

Since hotels are expensive, I might just brave a few hours in an all night cafe or just ride the night buses.

What time do they open up at St Ps?

Mostly Glasgow-ish. Mostly.
It's open 24 hours according to their own website.

"St Pancras International is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is monitored and patrolled constantly, both by CCTV coverage and by station staff and the police. The station only closes on Christmas day, however is still patrolled and monitored. The police patrols are often supported by specialist teams such as canine units, Project Servator and CID."

Is the Starbucks still open 24/7? The one currently closed for renovation in the circle area.

The station may be open 24 hours but I believe some of the facilities (notably, toilets) close to prevent homeless, for example, congregating there.

Also there are a couple of 24 hour McDonalds opposite that may be of some interest.

Hopefully the person I want to win the election winning it....but this is not really the forum for politics :)

I'm not sure if you can sit in them, though?

The McDs across Euston Rd does attract a few homeless people who stay for long periods (not usually anybody causing trouble or anything). As long as you've at least bought a coffee or something, the staff won't mind.

As you said, it's not a politics form but I must say I find the fact that you wish to go to 'celebrate' an election victory bizarre, is there some election victory party going on somewhere? Will the streets be flocking with jubilant voters cheering on Boris/Jeremy/Joe delete as appropriate. If you think Jeremy Corbyn will win then let me say this, as a hardcore Labour voter even I am thinking of turning my back on them and voting Lib Dem.

If I must.....

Let me assure you I won't be hoping anything of the sort.

Should I get my way, and that certainly isn't guaranteed, I want to celebrate within sight of the millennium wheel. Anyone who saw last year's New year's Eve fireworks will know why.

My thoughts echo yours. I often wonder if "Animal Farm" ever taught people anything about socialism.

Get to the Market Porter too for an early morning scoop or two and then jump on at London Bridge and wake up in Bedford/Brighton :D
