Hi all, I spoke to TFL HR today and they said Capita are handling the recruitment process for this role. Capita’s number is 0333 006 2939. They said they haven’t completed reviewing all the applications yet but hope to respond to all applicants in the next few days.

So yes, no news is good news....for now anyway

Received my confirmation email today advising that I’ve progressed to the next stage. Have to wait to be invited to an assessment day.

The first assessment centre slots have become available. I had an email invite and I was able to choose from 9th Dec and 17th Dec.

Worth checking your emails early before the slots fill up.

Pretty good as I hope. Typical competency interview. Revise the circuit stuff they send. Then you have to play around with a few nuts and bolts.

Well..: I’ve read the job description I know what I’m applying for i was looking more for inside information from somebody who actually works there. I have a well paid job now, I’m
applying more for a change than money, I live outside of London. If they place me on the other side of London what won’t be great either, just trying to work out pros and cons.

It worries me that if I fail exams I will loose the job. Would they find some alternative position?

Had my interview today. They're very professional and friendly about their process, but ultimately got annihilated. I'm hoping they put me out of my misery quickly with the outcome!

Personally, I found the electrical stuff the easiest. The other stuff, I sucked at. But none of testing / questions were what I would consider unreasonable
yeah I found the circuit one of the easiest parts but all in all quite challenging

If anyone gets a response gods or bad if you can let us know you got a response! Did mine last week was told it’ll be up to two weeks for a response but with xmas and New Years it ain’t guaranteed- just want to be put out of all the suspense!
