You missed the point. None of the content pages of the Avanti website were working at the time. To say "just not the 'homepage' content" was somewhat wide of the mark. None of the content pages - destinations, railcards, ticket types, offers, food / drink, 1st class benefits, parking etc. - were available. So for a any person - whether 'normal' or not - much content that was important was missing. My explanation that the content that was working was contracted out to other organisations was just an explanation of why it was working, and why therefore other content was missing. Not 'irrelevant' at all! Sorry if I came across as a bit direct though. All of those external services are still part of the Avanti website. The fact that they're hosted in different places isn't really relevant from a customer point of view is it. Most parts of the Avanti website are working, just not the 'homepage' content, is the point. There's no value to the 'normal person' in understanding the hosting setup / technicalities, it's totally irrelevant.
