Absolutely. It will be a bittersweet day but I'm looking forward to it.
I took a 314 around the Cathcart circle earlier . Basic units but hardworking.

Just because Angel are keeping one aside for preservation doesn’t mean one will be preserved: it needs someone to actually want to take one on. EMU preservation has not had a great record thus far, so I would be sceptical about the likelihood of this happening.Hi all

Does anyone know which Class 314 is being saved for Preservation after the final railtour I know this article dates from 9th February 2018 it has been promised Angel Trains are to keep one safe for preservation
Do we know which unit is going to be preserved I do not know which unit it is we don’t know if the unit at Eastleigh 314204 or the ones 314202 or 314205 or 314209 or 314210 or 314214 or 314216 are being saved for Preservation can anyone clairfy what unit is being saved for Preservation yet can anyone help
I have asked Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway and they got no plans to buy one and does anyone know which or where what Railway it’s going to.
We also don't know if that's still the case, as, the units are no longer leased from Angel.Okay. But I still think it’s possible but we don’t know what one is being saved yet we will have to wait and see first
Rail Magazine said:It has also been confirmed that ownership of the Class 314s has transferred from Angel Trains to ScotRail for a nominal sum, as part of the compensation for the late delivery of the Inter7City High Speed Trains supplied by the rolling stock leasing company.

Mandatory donation to MND Scotland to board. Not sure which journey I want to do!
Same here, and from what I picked up it would have been three donations, one for each leg.I hope to do all three if possible. I don't mind making three donations!
Never knew 314s wore blue / grey - any pics?

It may very well be the case that Abellio have a site in mind (or, indeed, someone bidding for a unit); but, it'd likely be a static display.
You’d think ScotRail would keep a 2 to form a 6 car set for the very common football specials out of GLC. The 314s are by far the most fit for purpose units for themWe also don't know if that's still the case, as, the units are no longer leased from Angel.

Saw a red 314 which was full of graffiti when I passed Yoker depot. Does anyone know which unit this is?
Unless it’s moved to Yoker in last day or two, it’s not 205. It’s been one of the most regular performers recently and I was on it on Monday.Likely 205

it is 215 which was suppose to have gone to Glasgow Works on Monday
There is one going for scrap on Monday. Not sure if 215 from Yoker or one from Shields
Ayr, Cumbernauld and Helensburgh all have station facilities

Being a bit generous with Ayr! Some grotty portaloos out in the carpark 200yrds from the platforms is all there is nowadays!
Without going too off topic what the script with Ayr Station? Are they in the process of repairing it still?
