Perhaps when the operator no longer has any 75mph units (that could end up deputising for faster units) the timings will be revised. One can hope...Timetables often seem to be left at "Sprinter" level (lowest common denominator) when most trains could manage a faster schedule.
Manchester-Cardiff is mostly 90mph (with 110mph to Crewe), and normally has 90/100mph trains on it (158/175).
But when a 75mph 150 deputises (not uncommon) it somehow usually manages to keep time.
