Two long-closed stations within the historic boundaries of Lancashire:
Dicconsall Lane and Aspull (a few miles from Wigan)
Dixon Fold (south of Bolton)

Pen y Bont, Penarth, Penychain, Penmachno, Abergele & Pensarn (Pen=head)
GOBowen (an English-language one there)
LlanGENnych (Gen = chin)
AberGWAUN (Fishguard) (Gwain is Welsh for vagina!); also Y Waun (Chirk)
Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen etc also fit in along those lines.
DINbych y Pysgod (Tenby) (Tin - which mutates to Din - is Welsh for anus)
Amazingly, I've been unable to find any body parts in either language in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch!!

Since we're doing Welsh ones the literal transaltion of Pontyclun is "Bridge of the hip"
