thanks - wondered how this worked.
It broadly lives in Hull for a few days (I feel like it's something like Thursday to Sunday) then goes back down to Laira for a few days before shuttling back to Hull. It's not a cheap operation this to be sure!
Personally I think it's quite a statement of support from First Group HQ that they've been willing to go through this rigmarole to provide some extra capacity in the HT fleet until their new trains are in service.

I've heard elsewhere on the forum that the HST set will be leaving at the timetable change next month.
Does anyone have any further information on what day the HST will leave Hull? It would be much appreciated.

It was lovely to have while it lasted - and it saved HT a lot of further reputational damage when the 180s continued to fail this year.
With 2 802s in service, it can't be long until we can say good riddance to the first of the 180s. Early January....?
