Undoubtedly true - though the weather was brisk walk not afternoon stroll!You could probably have doubled those figures for the Bradford services if Bradford City had been at home. Otherwise Broadway seems to have been open and the Shipley-Saltaire-Bingley canalside walk would also be a good afternoon stroll.
WY bus services ran to very similar start and finish times - no doubt constrained by similar length shifts.If Northern were to do it again, I think some good publicity will do them a world of good, and run a few later trains. Quite a lot of passengers mentioned to me about a lack of later trains.
