Northern to run some Boxing Day trains

You could probably have doubled those figures for the Bradford services if Bradford City had been at home. Otherwise Broadway seems to have been open and the Shipley-Saltaire-Bingley canalside walk would also be a good afternoon stroll.

If Northern were to do it again, I think some good publicity will do them a world of good, and run a few later trains. Quite a lot of passengers mentioned to me about a lack of later trains.

Undoubtedly true - though the weather was brisk walk not afternoon stroll!

WY bus services ran to very similar start and finish times - no doubt constrained by similar length shifts.
Bit unfortunate that NR weren't allowing access to Leeds, but next year that should be resolved.
BTW were all 3 diagrams 333s?

Yes all 3 diagrams 333s. Just a shame that I seemed to have landed the day on 333012 with no functioning heating...
