There was a 142 on the 06:57 Preston to Colne recently, I had just started work and I was at the West Cornwall pasty shack on platform 3 at Preston queuing to get a brew and a bacon roll when I saw it leave platform 2.
Sorry mate I didn’t get the number.

There was one waiting to depart for Ormskirk on Saturday at about 2000 hrs. Sorry didn’t get the number.

Nice to see 142047 at Liverpool Lime Street on Friday working
1255 Manchester Oxford Rd .
It was coupled to 150130.
Northern and TPE had problems that day
for sure as most announcements regarding cancellations were down to staff shortages!
Another announcement claimed the EMR service to Norwich would split at Nottingham with the front 2 cars only going forward to Norwich.
The train consisted of sole unit 158862!
Still nice to see 142s making it into Lime St though.

Confirm first 3 Hope Valley services today all 150s, one unrefurbished former GWR 150123 the others too dark to catch numbers but one recently refurbished, the other looked like it needed another refurb already! As new it was not.

Three Pacers out in the NE today. Number 71 and 95 as mentioned above. Plus number 65 has been sat in the HST sidings at Middlesbrough for most of the day.

142011 in from Southport as the 0937 Picc to A. Edge, 1049 back to Southport then 1317 back to A. Edge at least. Here it is on arrival off the 1037, amongst the flowers at Southport -

I was waiting at Salford Crescent yesterday from about 1140 to 1230 and noted a number of Pacers in service.
142011 was with 150115 on an Alderley Edge to Southport working.
142058 was by itself at 1157 to Blackburn via Todmorden.
142051 was on 1202 to Rochdale with a 150.
142047 with 150130 on a Southport to Alderley Edge service at 122x.

Looks like 65 is out on Saltburn/Darlington/Bishop services also. It's coupled to 95. Working 20 past every even hour from Darlington to Saltburn.
