I recently visited railsigns.uk and found that all of the content has been removed. Are there any other websites that have the same level of information as railsigns.uk?

It seems that there has been a message about privatisation on the website since at least 2015, as you can see on this page.

I don't really see how denying people a useful data source on a totally unrelated topic is supposed to help with the cause of getting a better government.

Wow, reading that message automatically lead me to believe that the person who wrote it is clearly unhinged. I'm no Tory fan (nor a fan of any politician for that matter) but I'd never go to such lengths to make an outlandish statement like that

If the outcome of the election had been different, and the railways were about to be renationalised, we'd be hearing similarly optimistic assertions about the benefits to those quoted in the message to which you've provided that link (and thanks for doing so, as it also accesses the main content of the site).

Disappointing that a useful site has been taken down for such an unrelated event.
As far as signalling goes, then https://signalbox.org/index.php is probably your best bet. But it does not cover the same range of railside signs that Railsigns used to.

Has anyone thought that the possibility exists that the site was hacked by Pro Corbynites aka Momentum? Course it could be the site owner but equally that looks like something a hacker would do!

Possible, but as long as I can remember the site has had anti-privitisation messages on it

It was a good idea but...........the images weren't archived so they're getting pulled off the main site and so are hacked.

Based on some of the owner's postings on here, I think it is very plausible that it was all his own choice
From my quick check it seems every page where photos, not diagrams of signals, have been replaced with those images.

Lots of socialists are pretty devastated. If you listened to some of my friends on election night, you'd think the election had been won by the Antichrist. That being said, this fervor tends to calm down over time, and there's a good chance that after a period the site will be restored to its former glory.
