Strange delay this year - but yes, 14th jan (usually at 09:30)
ORR have had few statistical oops moments to sort out recently hence everything about 4-6weeks behind normal. The oops sometime including correcting every year in the last decade (and not enough data to correct before that!).
The impact in terms of duff analysis done by others (inc DfT) using those numbers will take a long time to come out in the wash...

The ORR station usage data actually goes all the way back to 1997/98, so it would be a big effort!!

BTW, if you want any of them to look at the originals yourself, please email me and I would be happy to send them to you.
The opps was with other ORR stats hence sort those fully first and delay the publication of subsequent ones including station usage.

Do you know any further details about what actually happened?

Reddish South/Denton I reckon will see a large percentage fall. Maybe also Kirton Lindsey & Brigg.

They had no trains for months due to the Saturdays strike action, and also as the Denton flyer has moved to a Saturday it is covered by a GM Rail Ranger/Wayfarer etc whereas when it was on a Friday before you would need a single to Denton before the 09:30 start of the ranger products.

Least used will probably be Barry Links or Teesside Airport

I think it will be a Northern Railway Station although Kildonan feels like it might be in with a shout too.

IBM halt closed in December 2018 IIRC

Berney Arms has had no service for 18 months.

I am sure that the ORR would have some form of note next to that.
Although, I would imagine that people would still be able to buy tickets there (which is what the stats are based on)

Why would they still buy tickets? Replacement transport is not possible.

Enthusiasts love a ticket to an obscure destination, even if they don't intend t travel with it.

It's like collecting Permit to travel tickets...
