Although Shipley has platforms on all 3 sides it's not what I would call "the full monty" as platform 5 is single track.
Previous stations mentioned above like Ambergate and Queensbury where all double track with 6 platforms.
Not sure if any such stations are left.

The Bradford-Skipton axis was double track in the past, but Shipley had nothing on the North side for most of its history. Was the Warrington-Liverpool axis of Earlestown ever double track?

Shipley Leeds Junction box closed 20th July 1975. Shipley Bradford Junction controlled the remaining lines and signalling to Forster Square (using a small NX panel on the block shelf) from (I think) 1984.

I can confirm - from 21st October 1984.

The signal at Saltaire in the Leeds direction retains two feathers, giving three routes - I believe no feather is the route to the now p1, the shallower right faving feather for p2 and the other right facing feather for p5 (apologies, I can't remember which feather positions they are)

The remainder of the platform opposite p5 still exists - the trackbed of which now has OHLE equipment in it

Although platforms have existed at some time or other on all six sides at Shipley, have all six ever been in use at the same time? Was the western Bradford - Keighley platform closed before the northern Keighley - Leeds platform opened?

Yes. The original platform 1 (Bradford-Keighley) closed 30th March 1980. The bi-directional platform 5 (now 2) had opened 14th May 1979 in the down direction, and 9th March 1980 for up trains. The new (up) platform 1 (Keighley-Leeds) opened 25th July 1992 on which date platforms 2 and 5 exchanged numbers.
