In order to try and demonstrate the general equilibrium theory I find myself in the top left hand corner of an Edgeworth-Bowley box diagram at Amersham.

I was reading the rule book to this game, I got to page 72 and fell asleep. The next thing I knew I was at Upmister Bridge

Sorry, but I think that's just an excuse. We all know that pages 70 to 72 of the rulebook have been expunged! You must have been asleep by page 69. I suggest a refreshing trip to Kew Gardens and a large coffee in the cafeteria.

That is a very good idea followed by a nice walk around Hampstead Heath just to ensure I am totally refreshed for the next push. I remember that the 12th Day often results in a tough day.

Well it looks as though the egg-timer I set off at the start of the game was knocked over by a freak disturbance in space-time at some point. I have since righted it but let it be known that the sands of time are running rather low, so we may not have much longer.

With the law of gravitation back in force we must move under its influence to Wimbledon.

I have spent my time over Xmas in the archives and have in particular been studying the Battenburg, Blakewell, Tunnocks et al interpretation of the 1937 rules. I find it compelling on the subject of the modal shift and trans linear interpretation. While, of course, the existence of a cable car within London was unknown ( and perhaps unconscionable) to them they were very familiar with the aerial tramways of Upper Silesia and the spoil disposal cable cars used in the bauxite mines of the Omsk Oblast. I have always found it strange that they neglected a similar system in use at the short lived George VI colliery in Seaton Carew but that is an aside in this context.

I therefore offer Royal Docks

I did think I had the key to completing the game, but then I realised that as the year has the first 2 digits and last 2 digits the same. Rule 225 point 91 applies, which would have made my quest totally invalid. Now I am stuck at Kentish Town thinking about how close I got, but how far away I am.

I'm going to Warren Street which, under the 1944 Copenhagen Interpretation, requires me to tell the following joke:

Q: What do you call a man with a rabbit up his bum?
A: Warren.

I offer the customary apology, but rules are rules.

Apology accepted. NICE recommends urgent removal of an impacted rabbit. That's dangerous while the train is in motion, because we can't determine both the rabbit's position and momentum. We didn't work that out until we'd been round the Kennington loop. Then many heroic failures. Success, at last, at Mornington Crescent.

Well done. Maybe next time will be mine. If I can keep up with all the changes to the rules. It is so hard to play in a leap year.

Well I’ve woken up this morning and the egg-timer has reached the end, which in accordance with the 2018 Mansion House variation of the game requires immediate cessation of play.
