If Bustimes is to be believed, Tinner 33464 is on the 16 today. Most unusual for any double deck to be on this route.
Only reason I can think of, other than 'force de majeur', would be too many through passengers to/from St Ives during the A17 disruption: a friend of mine in Ludgvan has told me in the past of difficulties getting on the Penzance-bound bus on a Saturday morning, BUT a larger bus on the route has implications for certain stops on the normal routeing, both at Heamoor and in the Gulval/Ludgvan area i.e. they can be skipped, although FK will always deny that has happened, in his experience. If Bustimes is to be believed, Tinner 33464 is on the 16 today. I would certainly hope no stops were skipped. It's only two-hourly on Saturdays.Only reason I can think of, other than 'force de majeur', would be too many through passengers to/from St Ives during the A17 disruption: a friend of mine in Ludgvan has told me in the past of difficulties getting on the Penzance-bound bus on a Saturday morning, BUT a larger bus on the route has implications for certain stops on the normal routeing, both at Heamoor and in the Gulval/Ludgvan area i.e. they can be skipped, although FK will always deny that has happened, in his experience.
I wonder whether Cornwall Council have considered increasing the Saturday service to hourly again, at least until mid afternoon: it's not so long since it was.I would certainly hope no stops were skipped. It's only two-hourly on Saturdays.
I guess we'll find out by April!I wonder whether Cornwall Council have considered increasing the Saturday service to hourly again, at least until mid afternoon: it's not so long since it was.

Ah! We won't of course know the details of the timetables, but we'll at least know the routes. We will likely find out sooner! Will be off to Tc and n&p imminently

Yes, you can either inspect them in person at Leeds or they will send them by post on request with a fee of £3 per registration. The timetables I believe must be obtainable but not sure where. Plymouthian transit blog for example details new routes and times as soon as listed in n&p
God, the Stasi files were easier to access.Yes, you can either inspect them in person at Leeds or they will send them by post on request with a fee of £3 per registration.
Haha! Traveline often upload timetables well before operators publish them, so once the changes are published in N&P we can start checking the Traveline website.God, the Stasi files were easier to access.
Slightly off topic, but there’s a white Scania OmniCity been floating around lately which is YN53 GGA. Saw it on the A30 the other day and again today at Treleigh. I think it had the service number 572 or 672 on it but can’t be sure. Any inklings on this?
One day some clever person will invent a method where things like this could be made available for everybody to see. Perhaps this new telephonic device that some clever chap has invented might do it one day, once they don't need operators to connect you anymore.Yes, you can either inspect them in person at Leeds or they will send them by post on request with a fee of £3 per registration.
Shhh... Don't tell the TC's office...One day some clever person will invent a method where things like this could be made available for everybody to see. Perhaps this new telephonic device that some clever chap has invented might do it one day, once they don't need operators to connect you anymore.
Or they could get that Gutenberg chappie to print it out (whatever that is) on papyrus and circulate it to interested parties - it might just catch on.One day some clever person will invent a method where things like this could be made available for everybody to see. They email them now.Yes, you can either inspect them in person at Leeds or they will send them by post on request with a fee of £3 per registration.
