We then board the 0819 Transport for Wales service 1W56 to Newport, arriving there at 1104 on Wednesday morning.
Handy field track, as Google was quoting 0.6 mile back to the station presumably walking along the road, so it left me rather stuck!The abbey has unfortunately closed for the night, so we walk 700 yards by the field track to Thornton Abbey railway station and wait for the 19:34 Northern service to Barton on Humber where we arrive at 19:51 on Thursday evening.
