Trainee conductor/driver lifes

So I'm just wondering if conductors and driver lifes through the assessment are the same? I failed a conductor assessment and was told I used a life (I didnt even know you had lifes for conductor) but when I asked the assessor if both lifes where the same she said she didn't know. Just curious I think I'm giving up applying for either roles now but maybe in the future I'll change my mind but if lifes are linked I'd only be applying for driver jobs cheers for any replys

No it does not. Short and simple you have used a conductor life not a drivers.

As far as I’m aware certainly with my TOC you can apply unlimited times for guard but driver is universal twice only across all TOCs

Thanks every one very relieved with TPE its 2 lifes but knowing I havnt used a driver life has relieved me!!
