Hello everyone. Was hoping for a bit of advice regarding this journey.
I'll be departing on Friday evening, coming back Sunday. I'd like to go direct via Thameslink on the outbound leg.
However, I'd like to start my start my return journey from Central London on Sunday, not Croydon.
Am I right in thinking that I can start the journey from an intermediate station with an off-peak return as long as it's on the same route?
Also, if I had an 'Any Operator' ticket, could I start this return journey from Kings Cross on LNER? Or does this count as a different station to the St. Pancras low level Thameslink platforms for ticketing purposes?
I'll be travelling all over the TFL network over the weekend using contactless so if anyone has suggestion for making all my travel more cost efficient that I hadn't considered, that would be handy too. I have a 16-25 railcard.
Thank you
