I mean the 153's they got
Depends which ones you're on about...? On page 1 of the Transport for Wales Livery thread there's a list of the TfW Rail fleet with their last known states including liveries.

None have been delivered this week to my knowledge, but 3 were moved on from Crewe to Landore last week; it looks like those are still in East Midlands Trains livery. Bear in mind that the ex-GA and ex-EMR 153s are on temporary lease from Porterbrook that expires on 31/12/2020 (well, I'm assuming that based on the expiry of their dispensation permission) whereas the ex-ATW and ex-GWR 153s are staying until 2022-23 and those are in the process of being repainted/refurbished/PRM'd/WSP'd.

Whats more concerning is what happens if the 769's & 230's aren't in service by June. It's less than 6 months away and they haven't even been delivered and tested yet.
Not tested I grant you, but remember that some 769s were delivered to Canton. It was 2 in Canton at one point, but there have been some movements since. Is it two 769s in Cardiff now or three (or even just one)? anamyd's list has three 769s down as delivered to Canton, but did the first two have to be sent back for exhast pipe gauging issues to be fixed?

If you can unravel it you should find info in this thread:-

No, Landore under Chrysalis is a Workshop and not a Maintenance/Servicing Depot
Is Landore big enough to accomodate both Chrysalis' operations and a TfW servicing depot? Not saying that's what's happening, just wondering for the future...

If they are being used in West Wales maybe they are moving for that ??
I changed trains at Swansea yesterday on a journey to Fishguard. No 153's seen outside Landore so must be inside the workshop, 2 ex Northern 142's in sidings there. Didn't notice any 153's on West Wales services, passed 175's on West Wales- Manchester runs (but the Pembroke Dock branch was closed for engineering work). Plenty of pacers though working West Wales to and through Swansea. Whilst I waited there were 3 pacers standing in Swansea station at the same time. A class 143 was there on a Milford Haven to Cardiff central service, a 142 was waiting to work a Swanline stopper back to Cardiff central, and none other than 142073 (reports of its demise were premature!) was waiting to work my trip from Swansea to Fishguard and it worked the full journey back from Fishgaurd to Cardiff central - so 142 073 lives on and worked the "express" boat train and delivered me safely, after a noisy and lively ride at line speed, spot on time to Fishguard.

The 06.30 from man picc to Milford haven is booked to be a 158 now Monday to Saturday. TFW is senting too many pacers .shame the 09.09 from Milford haven to cardiff central and 16.04 from Cardiff central to fishguard harbour because there the same unit parks in canton from 11am to 4pm shame it can't be a 150

150s are having priority for the Cardiff Valleys at the moment for passenger capacity purposes to try and avoid people being unable to board trains

So, which ex-GA/EMR 153s are based at Canton and which are at Landore…? Also, is it still 8 of the 9, or has 153321 now been moved to / towards Wales...?

They are all based at Canton but I've lost track of what has gone to Landore apart from those mentioned in Post #458

"All" meaning the 8 or the 9 - does anyone know what 153321 is doing...? I wonder when these are going to enter service...?

Just a gentle reminder that this stock is to discuss PRM modified stock for Transport for Wales. Can we try and make sure posts are on topic and also contribute to the thread.

153306 has become the 3rd ex Anglia 153 in service, should be working 1609 Bridgend to Ebbw with a 150.
322 was also out again on the Fishguard this morning.

Pretty sure recently the peak time Ebbw Vale services have been 170s lately. Does that mean another 170 issue resulting in 15X's covering?
