Vienna Model Shops

Hi all,

OK so this is a HUGE long shot.

I know the Kleinbahn shop (spent lots of money there) in Vienna.
I have discovered another model railway shop in Vienna in Schulerstrasse near Stephansplatz.

Now comes the long shot bit.

In 1992 the wife and I walked from Schonbrunn Palace to Wien Westbahnhof. Along the route there was a model railway shop (quite large) and on a corner and I think by a railway bridge.

Anyone know if it is still there?

I have googled and I have even used Google pas street view to cyber walk it from th palace along Mariahilfe Strasse to Westbahnhof. nothing turned up.

Or are there any other model railway shops in Vienna (apart from the two I mentioned)?

I should be quite interested in the answer to this question as I am considering going to Vienna in the not too distant future too. I do have some Austrian made, Lilliput Carriages which are very well made.

I have about 6 locos plus a few coaches and wagons from here.


I've yet to visit the other one near Stephansdom.

The shop could have well been Memoba (https://www.memoba.at/) in the Aegidigasse 5.
The search term "Modellbahnladen Wien" spits out quite a few promising results on Google including previews of what to expect.
