Theres a 3 car re-liveried from the launch (175107) but none are properly painted or refurbished.

For the Mk4 fans, 82226 (ex-BN23), 82229 (ex-BN24) and 82216 (ex-BN25) are all now in base TfW livery. Former sets BN23 & BN24 are now on Mk4 training runs, while BN25 is still at Eastleigh.

Thanks for the updates guys, they've gone on the external list

I believe that on Monday the 10/2/20, a 153 left Canton for Long Marston and what I'm guessing was 153367 came back in the other direction. The realtime links are in the "progress of..." thread.

Can confirm 367 is back. Was one of 3 refurb 153s on a Rhymney working this evening

Looking at Flickr it was 153306, that also went back with 367 so not sure why it went.

I've been trying to keep track, and as far as I'm aware 153329 went in on 13th Jan and 153361 went in on 10th Feb.

Last three done have taken between 6 to 8 weeks, so we might see 329 in the next couple of weeks.

To be fair the 158s are going to be straightforward to refurbish given the extensive refurb carried out during ATW’s time. Wish the same could be said about the 175s...

They are feeling worn now, but the 175s feel in better condition today than the 158s were before ATW were paid to refurbish them. (I'm thinking no-longer-blue carpeting, dingy corners around the ex-payphone area, a cramped box for cycle space, and little touches of alphaline and regional railways liveris throughout the inside.)

Looks good. My one complaint would be the flooring which looks quite a light shade of grey and susceptible to getting grubby.

153326 has been seen in service, wearing former East Midlands Trains livery with white Transport for Wales branding much like the First Great Western examples

Nice pictures. The toilets look a lot better than before. I think I prefer the ATW colours inside the 158 saloons though, makes the units look a lot brighter and more welcoming. Not a huge fan of the new carpet. Maybe if they painted the edge of the overhead luggage racks red it would brighten the carriage up a bit.

Also, AFAIK, only 150213 & 150245 aren't fitted with WSP yet, and the following 150s lack PRM mods:
227; 230; 231; 235; 237; 245; 251; 255; 278; 279; 281.
