Wokingham to Heathrow Via Staines

Hi There,

I've a trip coming up and got to get to Heathrow via Staines from Wokingham. I cannot find any monthly return train fares and wonder if they're available at first place?
Singles are expensive costing £10 each way which totalling the costs to almost £30 for the journey.

Wokingham - Staines - SWR - ?
Staines - Heathrow Terminal 5 - Carlone Bus Service just 15 minutes (£5 return) - https://www.carlonelimited.co.uk/x442

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. Price wise it is more expensive £39 return :( I think getting off at Staines is much more quicker and cheaper and wonder why there is no (not day) return available?

Depends which terminal you’re going to at Heathrow I suppose. The bus from Staines seems to only go to T5, the 285 from Feltham just to Heathrow central bus terminal. It’s one of my big issues with Heathrow - it is actually three airports not one.

Agree. I'm going to terminal 5. My issue is the ticket on the first instance. Cannot find any monthly returns from Wokingham to Staines and why just those singles?

There aren't any period returns in the fares database for that journey (I'm sure others can detail the reasons perhaps). Either way, it's a lot cheaper than Wokingham -> Heathrow T5 off peak return at £67....

There don’t appear to be any open returns at all - everything is a day ticket.

But there is good interchange at Hatton Cross for buses to T4 or T5, and interchange is free.

And is a pain in the backside if you have luggage with you, which most people will for an airport.
