There is something in from Angerstein Wharf to Rossington tonight...

https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/85920/2020-02-03/detailed

But I think there was a previous suggestion this was reverting to GBRf operation?

That's certainly what it looked like a few days ago, tonights is a VSTP job with nothing else scheduled this week, but schedules are often changed of course .....

60028 has finally made its maiden run today taking 1546 6Z20 Chaddesden to Kingmoor, it looks to be working 2210 6Z60 Kingmoor to Willesden tomorrow, a number of photos on flickr this evening looking good with its matching blue wagons

After their arrival this morning on 0Z62 one of 60046 & 60055 worked 1550 6Z40 to Angerstein Wharf to form 2300 6Z41 to Rossington

60028 is working 2210 6Z60 Kingmoor to Willesden tonight, this and last nights 6Z20 are the first of two round trips this week

One of 60046/60055, likely 055, worked last nights 2300 6Z41 Angerstein to Rossington then 0Z55 to Doncaster Roberts Road and 0Z56 to Doncaster Down Decoy while the other, likely 046, stayed at Willesden and looks as though it may be collecting wagons from Wembley tomorrow

Suggested on WNXX tonight that the 56s are due to go for tyre turning and there was indeed a 2040 0Z56 Leicester LIP to Toton TMD this evening

56091 and 103 at toton for tyre turning.

I saw a schedules this morning that had the 56s light to Leicester and then on to Bristol Barton Hill WRD, both have subsequently been cancelled, obviously someone jumping the gun, 60046 has moved instead as 1426 0Z60 Willesden to Bristol BH WRD for another Chiltern job

Yes, it's a shame that 50008 is laid up and neither of the 56s are available, a bit over the top having a 60 hauling a single DVT

It seems from WNXX this morning that 60029 is now in the paintshop so we could have double headed 60s on the Chilterns .........

Is it wonder what livery it will appear in.

After arriving at Willesden with 6Z28 from Kingmoor thursday night 60028 shunted its wagons and then worked 1924 6Z61 to Chaddesden last night

60046 worked 1009 5Z20 Bristol Barton Hill WRD to Wembley LMD yesterday with Chiltern DVT 82305

All the schedules from Doncaster Down Decoy to Chaddesden for 60055 were cancelled yesterday so it remains in Doncaster

Some not bad pictures (not mine!!) of 60046 at Swindon on Thursday Wilsdeen > Barton Hill

https://twitter.com/25kv/status/1226231962232291329?s=21

Nice pictures, shame about the clown on twitter though, "Surely not worth recommissioning them if that's all that they are being used for", a little ignorance goes a long way thanks to social media, why people choose to comment on subjects they know nothing about never ceases to amaze me

Yes, on 0933 0Z60 and, presumably, will be on the scheduled 1546 to Kingmoor this afternoon while 60046 is due back on the 1238 Bristol to Toton TMD

Just one move today with 60028 light from Toton to Chaddesden, it may be an RTT red herring but it looks as though 028 could be off to Long Marston tomorrow morning

And a very bright red herring it was too, cancelled off RTT by this morning leaving all the locos on a day off, there are a couple of schedules for tomorrow, Chaddesden - Rossington - Scunthorpe - Willesden and Leicester LIP - Willesden, but whether they'll run ....

60028 has worked the Chad to Rossington, so that’s one out and about today

Yes indeed and the only one for today, working 0535 0Z60 to Rossington, 0840 6Z60 to Scunthorpe Roxby Gullet and currently 1540 6Z61 to Willesden via MML, with the cancellation of the light engine from Leicester LIP to Willesden 028 is suitably placed for the weekend trip to Bristol, hopefully Chiltern will come up with a DVT to match the Cappagh blue

After being scheduled for some time but not running, 0012 6Z21 Kingmoor to Humberstone Road ran this morning with 60055, the loco at least is due to form 1511 to Chaddesden while 60028 is scheduled on 1207 Willesden to Bristol BH WRD

Some right and some wrong today, 60055 worked 6Z21 to Humberstone Road and then 1511 6Z23 to Chaddesden

After arriving early hours with yesterdays 1540 6Z61 from Scunthorpe RG 60028 spent the day at Willesden after the scheduled 1207 0F81 to Bristol BH WRD was cancelled as were both Chiltern Bristol/Wembley trips, an 0619 to Angerstein and 1330 return are currently being threatened for tomorrow

Otherwise 60046 is at Toton along with the yet to be painted/unveiled 60029 with 50008, 56091 and 56103 all at Leicester

An instagram post in relation to todays Humberstone Road job by David Fletcher, Cappagh Director of Rail

"'Pop Up Rail Freight'. Today Cappagh company DCRail delivered the first train to a new rail freight facility in Leicester, the first goods to be delivered by rail to the East Midlands city for a number of decades. The simplicity of the operation is its strength. There are no expensive connections, sidings or concrete pads. Unloading is undertaken by just lifting the load over the boundary fence from wagons in the adjacent siding. With such a simple operation it took less than two months from the initial meeting to delivery of the first train. Easy access to the network allows more freight to be moved by train and the proactive support of the local Network Rail team was the key to the early and safe start of this operation. Hopefully plenty more similar operations can be established in the future. A great team effort"

If this sort of operation can be regularly duplicated by all the FOCs then things could be evened up a little between road and rail hauliers
