Went up to Edinburgh for the 6 nations and on Saturday passed Haymarket depot on the tram. I thought I saw a fleeting glimse of reformed unit 158748 (side no only) but as far as I believe all/most of these ex PM reformed units have now been reallocated to Exeter according to the Railway Magazine, however 748 does not appear in the reallocations list so far. So can anyone confirm if this unit is still in the southwest or has it been transferred to HA. Many thanks.

To my knowledge 158748 is not re-formed and its vehicles still make up part of 2 of the GWR 1589xx units.

I'd hazard a guess it could have been 158740 that you saw, which I believe is a Haymarket based unit.

The two vehicles of 158748 are the "odd" vehicles in GWR 158956 and 158957 to form them as 3 Car
