What blue/green liveried train did I see between Preston and Lancaster this morning?

Nothing like it
What I saw had full yellow ends, mainly blue paintwork with green vinyls on top.
As I said before, it looked similar colours to the old Silverlink livery.

And remember that morning TPE weren't running north of Preston, so the chances of it being one of theirs seems low

I wouldn't know. I'm simply showing what people were suggesting.

TPE were running north of Preston yesterday morning. Two of their 350s were between Preston and Lancaster at the time you stated. One going north (07:07 Manchester Airport to Carlisle) and one going south (07:34 Carlisle to Manchester Oxford Road). In fact they were the only trains in the area so I think it's safe to say you saw a 350/4.

This won't be the exact train, but was this the livery?

Not sure how many 350s have the
61016 liveried centre cars.
The above is the only one I have seen, but sounds like this could have been the type of train you saw.

Again, LNWR don’t run up that way
I agree about LNWR coming up this way, but... Leaving Preston Station today at about 2pm there was a LNWR train apparently stabled at "platform 7", and I've seen EMUs (or maybe just this one) in the same livery crossing the bridge over the Ribble occasionally over the last couple of weeks. I've no idea what they're doing

Might have been this

Thank you, that's the only post so far that makes sense. The colours are right, though I thought the blue and green was on the same carriages - but the mind can play tricks, especially a fleeting glimpse at speed.
Problem probably solved

Amid this mornings disruption seen from the M6 alongside the WCML between Lancaster - Preston heading south around 08:30
What looked like an AC powered three or four carriage PEP unit painted blue/green. Couldn't really look due to need to keep eyes on road, but closest livery was a Silverlink 313/1

Is there anything like that still around? What was it doing on the WCML? At the time it was seen, everything north of Preston was supposedly blocked

Saw it at Chorley going North this morning Noticed it because it ran through non stop at a fair speed. I think EMU of 4 carriages. Not a livery I have seen here previously.

They are TPEs class 350s ready for transfer
A 350 in LNWR livery is running around up that way.
We have already established that this train wasn’t in the LNWR livery

Regularly seeing a train in that livery coupled to a northern 150 on running through meols cop on the Southport to Manchester line the past few weeks.

Stop spouting nonsense. The only person here to have seen it has already given their blessing to the video featuring an LNWR 350.
The video shows a unit in London Midland livery, rather than LNWR livery. Which raises the far larger question of what on earth a LM liveried 350/2 would be doing north of Preston, probably on a TPE service: You'd think something like that would have been picked up on another relevant thread but I've seen nothing, and would be noteworthy enough for this thread to be an open and shut case. I'm certainly not inclined to argue with what someone saw with their own eyes but it strikes me as unlikely.

Yeah I believe that the three 150s that transferred to Northern from LNWR last year are still running round in debranded London Midland livery.

You can debunk those theories. There are no LM liveried 350s on hire to TPE but all TPE 350s are now in LNW livery and the only 2 trains to pass through the section the OP is asking about at the time they say were TPE 350s. They say they didn't get a clear look at the train due to them driving on the motorway. I'm certain what they saw was a 350/4.

Northern 150s don't tend to run between Lancaster and Preston either and no corresponding service can be found to attach to them.

Which begs the question.
Are there any 350s used by or on loan to TPE with 61016 blue centre cars or even
any in hybrid liveries such as those painted in LNWR running around with TPE centre cars etc?
That's the only other conclusion I can come to?

Ha,just realised my post was answered whilst I was posting the above lol.
Strange one unless LNWR loan a 350 out to TPE in their colours.
That would be my conclusion.

Indeed, that was my take on the matter as well based on your previous post but I wanted to give the OP the benefit of the doubt as there may well have been something that I was not aware of.

The 150 comment was more of a separate point, I didn't think they had any booked work on the WCML north of Preston - Thanks for confirming.

A fortnight ago, I was at Waverley to travel to Glasgow when a LNWR liveried train pulled in to platform 11 and I wondered why it was there.

Sounds plausible that is was a TPE train and yes, it seems they do run up this way
I was referring to the fact a 350/2 or a 230 would not end up that way

No there aren't. All 6 remaining TPE 350/4s are now in LNWR livery but in certain light conditions the silver can appear to have a blueish tint to it. There are no loans and no hybrid liveries.
