A couple of shots of each end of DMSO(a) 009, the rest being blocked by the 37
No one has answered my question yetWhats happening to the 333 that going in today? Will it come out later than usual because of Xmas or will it come out around the normal time next month
Suggests that nobody knows the answer! No one has answered my question yet
Or nobody is really that bothered!Suggests that nobody knows the answer!
Surely it’s not Northern who make them dirty internally? But the passengers who travel on them, dumping litter and all sorts of detritus, spilling coffe and food etc? Do they also treat their own homes and cars the same?
Hearing that 333016 is suffering from similar issues which may be terminal. Happy to be corrected though

Is the last one not having the interior refresh 333 016 reported on here as out of use at Skipton with structural problems still stored?

Thanks.333016 is out today, quite easy to spot now it's the only red one left
Serious structural issues I believe.I’m sure it’s been mentioned previously on here (apologies for missing it!) but what’s the reason behind 333009 currently sat on Derby wrapped up in Plastic?
Fair enough, seems to be an issue plaguing CAF stock of that age with the 332s suffering similar. I presume as it's gone to Derby it'll be repaired at some point though, more so as they've sheeted the thing over (bar coupler and snowplough).Serious structural issues I believe.
It's supposedly going to get repaired, but it's going to take a few months to do so, however whether it's financially viable, when it's not the only 333 that apparently has this problem I'm not so sure. I've also heard " unofficially" that Northern were going to get rid of them all and have them replaced like for like for new units, 331 probably.Fair enough, seems to be an issue plaguing CAF stock of that age with the 332s suffering similar. I know, I like them.Hopefully thats not anytime soon
Aren't there tonnes of 350/2s coming off lease in the next couple of years? I wouldn't be surprised if in a couple years time the 333s would be retired.I've also heard " unofficially" that Northern were going to get rid of them all and have them replaced like for like for new units, 331 probably.
I think after the 1st of March and Northern is back in public ownership, who knows, anything is possible.Aren't there tonnes of 350/2s coming off lease in the next couple of years? I wouldn't be surprised if in a couple years time the 333s would be retired.
