Northern Sheffield Conductor

Hi Everyone

Last September I applied for a conductor vacancy with Northern and currently my application is still 'in process' according to my profile of their website. I've not got the dreaded 'end of process' yet!
However they've just relisted the vacancy.
Does anyone know if I'm still in the game? do I need to reapply?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'd also be interested in any advice given
I recently applied for leeds conductor, completed my online assessment and it's been about 4 weeks now
Still shows as still in process.

Same boat as you with the Leeds position, going for an answer soon

Did you receive an email to say it was gonna be another 2 weeks due to high volume of applicants?

This seems to happen quite frequently in the world of the railway HR - people waiting for months in the system having applied for a particular post and the same post gets advertised again. A few of the TOCs do it - maybe there is a reason this happens but I can understand it is puzzling to those of you on this thread.

As it happens I had an email today saying they aren't progressing with the role. This is worded differently to other rejection emails I've had where its been a 'thanks but no thanks' so I logged on to see if it would let me reapply for the new job listing and it did, Whereas it hasn't in the past when I've tried to quickly reapply again for the same role.
So, I guess we'll see what happens, can only say no
