Did you at any point feel the pattern changed? For example the grey square was turning black after about 10+ flashes and the test instructions says it turns darker but I think it’s just light grey square that goes black or does it actually become darker grey after a while?

Did everyone get a start date yet?

Still waiting for my stage 2 results.
Got my medical this week, paranoid that something will have changed health wise that I don't know about! Always hate medicals, even though I know I should be fine! I only had one just under two years ago for my current role! Feels like the medical is the final hurdle though. Hopefully pass that then await further news!

You will pass it. Its just the usual eye tests and hearing test etc. No reason for you to fail! The final hurdle and then your off! Nice one!

Did anyone practice on the how2be for the WAFV
And is there any thing you can practice for the ATAVT as I think this will be the most difficult. The practice material given is t great for this part.
I have my assessment next week , I failed last year on the TEA part 3

I practiced all computer tests downloaded from traineetraindriverinfo think they’re similar to the ones from how2become.

I was thinking ATAVT would be the difficult but it wasn’t..
I failed on WAFV because I wasn’t concentrating, was too relaxed thinking it’s an easy test..
Trick for that is to start few seconds after everyone has started so you will know when the square will turn black by listening the sound of others hitting the green button then yours should also turn black few seconds after others as you started after everyone.
Hope you pass TEA part 3 and all other tests this time around

I dont necessarily agree with this advice, my advice with all of the computer tests is to take your time. You are in charge of when the test starts so don't start it until you are ready. You get a couple of practice runs before all of them as well so make the most of these. You have to be focused but don't be too tense as this can lead to you pressing the button involuntarily. Focus on yourself and your test not what others are doing around you as this can lead to second guessing yourself. Good Luck.

Said it before . I personally wouldn't wait for another candidate's click , what if they were getting it wrong. It's a personal choice of course .

100% agree with you. When I sat this test I blocked everything out and focused on what I was doing. I passed!

Yes I also agree about not relying on other persons click but it can be helpful in a way although I actually found it distracting as I’d have preferred complete silence, next time I’ll consider putting headphones on to block out the sound of others clicking

When I did my test the OPC provided us with headphones, surprised they didn’t do this when you did your test.

Has the job spec changed for this ad? I've noticed a few of you good folks saying that you have your assessments coming up (very best of luck to you all by the way), but when I applied, the ad said that the psychometrics must have been passed within the last five years!

They did provide headphones but said for WAFV we won’t need them but we will need them for ATAVT and 2 hand coordinations so it was down to use to put them on from start or after the WAFV test

Its probably all of us applying to multiple tocs at the same time and taking the tests. I am pretty sure the need to have passed them within 5 years still stands.

Did you get the date re-booked?

For the company you are taking the tests for yes. It varies from TOC to TOC.

In this particular thread it is 5 years for GB.

Submitted alternative available dates, HR awaiting a response from their medical provider! Frustrating, but can't be helped unfortunately - just one of those things!

They have been quite efficient so I would expect you will be getting another date soon enough!

I had my interview last week and have been asked to submit my form for availability for a medical. I guess that means I passed the interview?

Thank you, I’ve heard a few others say that . So you think the ATAVT isn’t too bad, it’s hard to practice ,not much material around, I put a few brain training memory apps on my phone and I hope I pass this time too!! Last chance

Thank you for the advice, I’ll try my best, really want this and it’s my 2nd attempt so last chance.

I managed to pass ATAVT probably because there was 25+ pictures so it’s hard to fail imo, wish you all the best mate!

I passed my Stage 2 assessments last week again by renewing them! Cheers @LRV3004 for all the help. I have my DMI for TPE next week.

Still nothing from GB though!

I got a phone call saying I'd passed the interview and then got a form for medical availability e-mailed to me. I would say your chances are looking good!

Any body got any real idea of when any of us would potentially start the training? Or are we in a sort of standby situation? Presuming we all make it of course!!
