Ian Wallace - Down Below
Possibly the only song about working in sewers, I've always found the ending quite dark, sinister and foreboding "There's something in a sewer down below ...".

I listened to that last night and it was excellent. I’d not heard it before.

A bit Route One, but in my opinion the best song they ever did - The Levellers - Fifteen Years:

And another song in a similar vein (also highly relevant if you grew up in a small town with a ‘Local pub, for Local people’...) - The Beautiful South - Old Red Eyes is back:

Has anyone else got any similar songs?

(Good grief that Beautiful South video is appalling!)

Rush - Tom Saywer
I was inspired by the features about Neil Peart in the latest issue of PROG to listen to this great song.

Some "rain - related" material:

Rain Parade - "This Can't Be Today"

Searchers - "What Have They Done To The Rain"

Creedence Clearwater Revival - "Who'll Stop The Rain" (Live)

Playing a minidisc I recorded some time ago. Its got my favourite Kylie Minogue tracks on, mixed in with some Gary Moore tracks. Also got One & One by Robert Miles, We Are All Made of Stars by Moby. And Tower of Strength by The Mission

Don Henley's Boys of Summer should have been a chart number 1. Everything about that song is just pure gold.
