Dont hold your breath. It's very unlikely that anyone in recruitment has been in until today...Hi was wondering if anyone else has applied recently with Cross country for a Train manager Birmingham New street.
If so has anyone heard back yet. Closed 31st Dec 19

Thanks for the quick reply! That's put my mind at rest! Hopefully hear something back soon.Guys
Cross Country recruit on the Deutsche Bahn site along with Grand Central & Northern (the latter will clearly be advertising elsewhere come the 1st March).
What I will say is that if your application on the site is marked as 'End of Process' I'm afraid you have failed the paper sift. XC should e-mail you the dreaded 'unfortunately...' notification when that happens.
If your account says 'Application in Process' then you are fine. I would just suggest hanging fire with contacting HR - the wheels of recruitment move ever so slowly as I have found out for myself, so please be patient!
I believe Cross Country have advertised again for Train Managers in Birmingham & Bristol in the last fortnight so there may well be developments in due course if they are recruiting for these posts.

Hi Dan61,
I applied and still haven't heard anything back, every time I go on to the careers website, it says application in process. I can't find any contact information to email anyone in the recruitment department either. Have you heard back by yet? I am under the impression that I have been unsuccessful as it has been so long but still holding on to some hope ha!
They'll be in contact when they are ready! Be patient!I applied through deutsche bahn for a SC role for Cross Country on the 19th Jan but still heard nothing! Says application in process as well. Is it worth just leaving it until I hear something or trying to contact?
Haha! I'm eager lol. I am aware the railway recruitment process can be long so I guess I'll have to be patientThey'll be in contact when they are ready! Be patient!
