its getting PRM mods either way is it not
PRM mods aren't just toilets though- hence stock without toilets still needed other work. My question was because 209 currently doesn't have a toilet, will it be being fitted with one? If so, it probably kills the 3-car plan (which was already on life-support).

Travelled on 156460 today. Just a cursory look around the front ends illustrate why they take so long to refurbish. Reminded me of the days when I patched up wings on old BMC cars, the corrosion was very evident. No doubt there'll be more out of sight. These pictures don't show the half of it.

Returning them to service as new must be a daunting task.

Technically no toilet at all is PRM compliant as long as it’s on a journey that’s an hour or less

So from the last 3 posts would it be correct to say:-
Connect 158s have new seats, new tables and seat reservations.
Non connect units retain the existing tables and seats with new seat covers.
All refurbed units have white livery, interior repaint, led lighting, new carpets, wifi usb etc.
Is above correct?

What's the difference between refurbished connect and non connect allocated units. I'm guessing just new seats
K

The connect ones have seat reservation displays I believe.

That’s it. They’ve also had the tables replaced unlike the non connect ones which have retained the chipped originals.

Do the Connect units receive USB and Wifi?

The units for the North East will be connect units. From what has been said previously it will be the 16 Perkins engines units (158815-817, 842-845, 848-851, 853, 855, 859-861) plus 2 others. 845 & 849 are different in that they so far have a reservation system, new tables and info screens on the end luggage racks as per the 195’s.
