Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere but I've recently noticed the walls of some 350 toilets are getting a wall wrap of London skyline scenes. So far I've seen the Houses of Parliament and a general 'City' skyline. I didn't get the unit numbers but I'm pretty certain at least one of them was a 350/2. It seems curious to me because I thought the focal point of the network was meant to be Birmingham and the West Midlands so why these London scenes in the toilets?

Fair enough, but both the times I saw it were on local journeys around the West Midlands and not on London-bound trains. A few of the 350s have exterior wraps for West Midlands based attractions - things like Cadbury World and Birmingham International Airport etc and the parent company is West Midlands Trains. Just seems odd to me they would randomly start putting London scenes in the toilet, especially seeing as the 350/2s are meant to be on the way out and are otherwise in pretty tired condition.

Their is 1 350/2 which has a wrap on the outside of the toilet which i believe is a building in birmingham. That has had it for a while too

The focal point of the entire 'United' Kingdom is London. We should all bow down to London at least once a day.

In all seriousness though haven't some 350s had liveries advertising Birmingham and Liverpool in the past?

:D

Oh, come on. LNR is primarily about travel to London (and home), secondarily to Birmingham and Liverpool, tertiarily (is that a word) everywhere else. There's a clue in the name.

All LNR 350s serve London, especially now with all the services combined with others.

LNR provides outersuburban and regional services out of London primarily for south WC commuters and a lot of rolling stock is used to serve said passengers now.
Yes, LNR provides both of those plus inner suburban out of Birmingham. (LO does the inners from Euston) But those trains not starting or terminating in London aren’t run by 350s on the most part so I don’t see a problem.

Some /2s will have Brum - Liverpool dating back to LM when Wolverhampton-Walsall and Birmingham-Liverpool weren’t joined to the London trains.
