Pre employment checks

How stringent are the pre employment checks for a maintenance operative position? I tick every box and been offered the job but the last few years my work life has been a little unstable, I’ve changed jobs a few times. I’m
Worried this will come back to bite me. Does anyone have any info on this. I really want the job and nervous about the outcome

As long as you've been honest you'll be fine. NR HR have definitely checked back for people who have put me down as a reference.

Job history from the sense of frequency of changing jobs is normally a consideration for shortlisting and interview. pre-employment checks will look at accuracy of what you have said where and when you have been working as well as any red flags such as dismissal or disciplinary warnings.

In my experience, you’ll be fine as long as you’ve been honest in your application form and interview. I also had a few years where I had many jobs in a short time due to some crazy circumstances , but as long as the dates worked at each job are the same on the application form and your references, there shouldn’t be any problems
