Sorry, not possessing mobile telephone apparatus I cannot post a picture, but I have observed at two locations several repeating examples of a sign I do not think I have seen before. It consists of a largish black diamond, with two white diamonds side by side on it.
The two locations where I have observed a few examples of this sign are (1) on the Crewe and Chester line, on the up side, on short posts, in the Bunbury area, between Beeston Castle and Tarporley and Calveley; and (2) north of Stafford on the WCML, on the up side, between Doxey Junction and Little Bridgeford Junction, mostly attached to the foot of electrification structures.
I think that at both these locations, flooding occasionally occurs, or there is a risk of it. Does the sign mean "Line liable to flooding"?
