Seems that ITV Studios subsidiary Potato are filming a Paddington 24/7-style series at Birmingham New Street as there are filming notices dotted around the station.

Says that the series will feature Network Rail staff, station operations and some of the rail operating companies.

Also will be interesting to see if this is a Channel 5 commission again from Potato.

Not sure if Paddington 24/7 was commissioned for a new series or not as haven't seen any of the filming notices there for a while.

The working title for the programme was listed as "Railway Insight" (will obviously change before tx) and to email ITV Studios if you are caught on camera and don't want to be seen on screen (face blurred etc).

Channel 5 (and their new owner, viacr*p, sorry, viacom) have been outsourcing to ITV for a while. It probably is Paddington 24/7 but in Birmingham. After this current run, I'm betting on the next logical step being Manchester or Scotland.

Many channels use ITV studios, including the BBC

Another soft " porn" railway/reality programme...To be honest the amount of time to be filled with programmes on TV channels, will mean that the likes of Man Picc etc will be next...Love to see one for Newcastle as the people up there would make for a great show...Plenty of characters and the Geordie dialect !...Great.

So, no one watched 'The Station. Trouble on the Tracks' that is being broadcast on Thursdays on itv?

I watched it. Thought it gave a good insight into the difficulties the 'orange army' face when it comes to flooding

I don't watch broadcast TV, but thanks for letting us know - off to watch it on the Hub :)
