Update on the Mk4 situation. Coaches in orange are for GC training runs, coaches in bold orange are for GC and are in works, coaches in red are for TfW training runs, coaches in bold red are TfW coaches that are in works. Coaches in italics are stored, coaches with strikethroughs are scrapped.
  • BN01-BN18: in service with LNER. BN10's DVT (82205) now sports Flying ScotsWOMAN branding.
  • BN19: Coaches B/C/F/H/L & DVT (12211, 12434, 12310, 10318, 11319, 82201) are (as of 03/03) in Wembley for training with GC. Coaches D/E/K/M (12400, 12470, 11290, 11419) are in Worksop, and expected to be moved to Booth's by road.
  • BN20: Coaches B/C/F/H/L & DVT (12224, 12477, 12326, 10321, 11320, 82200) are in the Alstom Technical Facility at Widnes for refurbishment/overhaul, prior to use with GC. Coaches D/E (12439 & 12440) are in Doncaster Works, and coaches K/M (11241, 11420) are in Worksop.
  • BN21: Coaches B/C/F/H/L & DVT (12222, 12461, 12323, 10330, 11321, 82227) are in the Alstom Technical Facility at Widnes for refurbishment/overhaul, prior to use with GC. Coaches D/E/K/M (12441, 12476, 11244, 11421) are in Worksop.
  • BN22: Coaches B/C/F/H/L & DVT (12210, 12452, 12316, 10301, 11322, 82230) are (as of 06/03) in Wembley for training with GC. Coaches D/E/K/M (12460, 12473, 11291, 11422) are in Worksop, and expected to be moved to Booth's by road.
  • BN23: Coaches B/C/H/L & DVT (12225, 12454, 10325, 11323, 82226) are on TfW training runs along the North Wales Coast, based out of Crewe. Coaches D/E/K/M (12456, 12455, 11292, 11423) are scrapped, while coach F (12318) remains in store at Worksop.
  • BN24: Coaches B/C/H/L & DVT (12219, 12447, 10328, 11324, 82229) are on TfW training runs along the North Wales Coast, based out of Crewe. Coaches D/E/K/M (12425, 12403, 11293, 11424) are scrapped, while coach F (12319) remains in store at Worksop.
  • BN25: Coaches B/C/H/L & DVT (12217, 12446, 10312, 11325, 82216) are for TfW training runs along the North Wales Coast, based out of Crewe (but have yet to leave Eastleigh). Coaches D/E/K/M (12425, 12403, 11293, 11424) are at Doncaster (IIRC), while coach F (12322) remains in store at Worksop.
  • BN26: in service with LNER.
  • BN27: Coaches B/C/F/H/L & DVT (12216, 12449, 12317, 10319, 11327*, 82228) are (as of 06/03) in Wembley for training with GC. Coaches D/E/K/M (12466, 12538, 11237, 11427) are scrapped. N.B. One online source stated that 11327 has been moved to Booth's, which I'm disputing until sufficient evidence is given.
  • BN28: Coaches B/F/H/L & DVT (12218, 12320, 10310, 11328, 82217) are in use with LNER as spares. Coaches C/K/M (12458, 11273, 11428) are scrapped. Coaches D/E (12463, 12533) are stored at Doncaster (AFAIK).
  • BN29: Coaches B/C/F/H/L & DVT (12204, 12462, 12321, 10317, 11329, 82231) are (as of 06/03) in Wembley for training with GC. Coaches D/E/K/M (12457, 12438, 11998, 11429) are scrapped.
  • BN30: Coaches B/C/F/H/L & DVT (12227, 12471, 12331, 10329, 11330, 82203) are (as of 06/03) in Wembley for training with GC. Coaches D/E (12534, 12472) are stored at Long Marston (why is a mystery); coaches K/M (11999, 11430) are stored at Doncaster.
  • Spare coaches 12200 & 82224 are still with LNER.
In BN25 you have (12425, 12403, 11293, 11424) Should that be 12519 12464 11294 & 11425, ps great list.

Someone helpfully posted a list of Mk 4 coach status a few days ago. Can someone please do something similar for the 91s? I am trying to ride behind the remaining fleet members.

Yeah, 108 is a true Christmas tree, given its pan has been removed and it’s face is now worn by 116

She is a sorry sight it has to be said. Though considering the placement in Doncaster yard perhaps it's intended as a warning to the others? "Breakdown and this could be you next..."

The 91s were dropped off at Doncaster Royal Mail Terminal (to accompany 91104); the set & DVT was BN18 (82220).
Surprised BN18 is gone...thought that would be one of the sets retained given it had the new PIS screens installed

I thought the sets fitted with PIS screens would be the ones retained
They would need a dispensation to remain in service from 01/01/2020 if not fitted - I don’t recall seeing one, so presumably they are all fitted?

I've not seen a Mk4 without the screens for quite a while before January 2020. Not saying that all of them got it but I think it must have been a high proportion of the fleet.

If anyone noticed there is a pattern in lner withdrawing 225 stock. They seem to be withdrawing backwards from BN30 downwards. So so far BN30-BN18 are gone now regardless of pis screens so this eventually gives lner a uniform fleet BN01-BN10 which will be the ones left. I assume!
