A semi-rural part of north-west England
We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 786 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Fairford
It follows the line of the Oxford, Witney and Fairford Railway
It then follows the line of the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway
It then follows the line of the Worcester and Hereford Railway
It then follows the line of the Ledbury and Gloucester Railway
It then follows the line of the Cheltenham and Great Western Union Railway....just a very short line stretch
It then follows the line of the Midland and South Western Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Andover and Redbridge Railway
It then follows the line of the Wessex Main Line...link line only, no closed stations
It then follows the line of the GWR Salisbury Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Bristol and North Somerset Railway...via the Camerton loop line
It then follows the line of Bristol and Exeter Railway...main line via Weston Junction....note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Teign Valley Line
It then follows the line of the Moretonhampstead and South Devon Railway
It then follows the line of the South Devon Railway
It then follows the line of the Cornwall Railway
It then follows the line of the West Cornwall Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Marazion

The first closed station on this journey is Fairford
