In recent news. A post on Facebook has said that with the reduced timetable being bought in from monday, reducing services between manchester airport and scotland. TPE will no longer require the 350/4s to run the electric scotland services

will this mean that the remaining few will finally join their sister units on LNR?

You would assume /4 refurbishments would have been left until last as they are in a reasonably good condition being so new.

Priority, should have been the the /1s - with threadbare carpets and 15 year old seat covers worn through.
Obviously the 350/1 refurbishment is more extensive, but still not sure what the need is to replace the seat covers in the 350/4s. I wonder if the 350/3s will also receive the LNR seat covers soon?

Is there a reason why the refurbished 350/4 has not had the handrails painted dark green (as with the 350/1s)?

R.E. the move I posted a few days ago, I could have swore I just saw 409 in Ardwick. Is anyone able to confirm which 350s are still there please?

I’ve looked at some emails and I think 350403 is the last one left which worked diagram LT152 on 28/03/20 and would have been TPEs last 350 workings

403s in the shed at Ardwick at the moment. Not sure what else is on though.

402 and 408 reported elsewhere as going to WMT yesterday, so just leaves 403 and 406 I think?

It might have been 3 to be fair. The numbers are quite similar physically and it was fairly far away.

Cheers everyone :)

Just walked past 409. Can't see any others. Aparently the remaining two are leaving over the weekend.

With 350403 & 350409 on today's 5H77, does that mean the 350 with 350407 on the 31st was 350406?

Without wishing to sound thick, why was the unit movements from Ardwick to Bletchley and not the depot at Northampton?

Bletchley TMD is being used for short term storage, obviously the majority of the 350 fleet is stood down at present and Kings Heath is pretty full.

402,406,407,408 are already at Bletchley, 401,404,405 and 410 were already with LNR, so that leaves 403 and 409

Thank you for that as well. I believe 350403 & 350409 have literally just arrived at Kings Heath Depot

I will miss the 350's at TPE.
350403 is my highest mileage unit but I'm sure over time that my 397 mileage will add up too.

Like the 185s up to Scotland they werent suited for intercity services. Seated was decent enough.

Interesting that the mk 4's retain their yellow poles. It made sense to keep them in in the first place since yellow is a generic colour and all 350's have yellow poles. Surprised they bothered with the mk 1's, just makes more it more inconsistent!

So 397s only on Anglo-Scottish services once things get back to normal.
